Ohio State Waterproofing requires that both the husband and wife be there for the estimate...they scare you into their high pressure sales...After they give you a $15K estimate...wait for a couple of weeks and they will come down to about $ 4K. Just get at Least get two estimates before signing anything with these guys. Our neighbor got a quote from ____________ waterproofing for about $ 2,650.00. Ohio State's price was...wait for it...$ 13,250.00!!! Two weeks later, they got a call from Ohio State saying that their office ordered too much material and will reduce the estimate to $ 10,000.00 if they could come out that day to get a signature. Another two weeks (or 10 days) went by and they called again to lower the price to less that $ 8,000.00. By this time the job had already been completed by the first company. Yet...Ohio State actually called two more times to lower their price...never coming close to the competitor's price....Again, always get two estimates...or three if possible.
