I've been taking the scene study class at EMAS since September and love it. I'm working not only with a great teacher (Elizabeth Mestnik) but I'm also in class with a talented group of other actors. The material we work on is great. We recently did scenes from great playwrights such as Tony Kushner and John Patrick Shanley. Elizabeth is a great director and with her insight we get the opportunity to really develop the characters. If you're looking for a scene study class that doesn't have a set of stock scenes that are done over and over this is the place to go.
