No Supervisors!? 9/15/2012

I cannot do any transactions online such as change method of bill payment of due date. I called customer service because I was upset that a pre-paid credit card was on the file for being billed monthly when I would rather pay my own way in cash. I spoke to an Indian sounding man named Rob. He was able to fix the method of payment, but when I explained to him that I ordered the unit on August 17, 2012 and the unit for my laptop didn't arrive until August 19, 2012, he claimed he was not able to change the billing date. I explained to him that billing me on the 16th meant that I was getting stiffed by two days of service at least each and every month. He tried to see what he could do to change it and only came back on the line offering me a two day rebate. I asked him, so, if I don't get paid until the 18th and pay on that date, because that is 30 days from the unit being available to use... are you going to shut my service off for 48 hours? His answer was a definitive YES. I started raising my voice at him and demanded to speak to a supervisor. He tried to get me to accept terms 3 times and NEVER put a supervisor on the line. I firmly believe that when calling you are speaking to a call center in INDIA and they have no idea how to help the customers with billing issues other than accepting payments with credit cards. ROB, finally after the third time and I screamed at him to get his supervisor, told me the ONLY way to change the billing date from their error was to let the internet go out on the 16th and call back and demand my two day credit at that time. Then they can see what they can do to let me have another 2 days of service before the bill comes due. The problem with this is that I explained this would happen EACH AND EVERY MONTH... and that some people dont' get exactly paid and have money cleared on the 15th. I was angry that I would have to pay at the first week of the month $50, two weeks in advance of my bill being due... and it would come down to me paying $50 every two weeks for 30 days of service! more
