The wait was what you would expect, probably 45 minutes or so for my son's hand injury. We were seen by a PA not a physician, they took xrays - fine. The PA comes in the room and draws an elaborate sketch (we were not shown the Xray), and tells us that his finger is horribly broken and that he needs to be seen by a specialist within a day or two to have it set. The receptionist calls around to find one, because the PA made it sound like the break was really bad. I asked for a copy of the XRAY but they were out of CD's. We had to go back later that evening to get it. The next day, the radiology report was faxed to the specialist we found. The CD was useless, and not readable, and the radiology report indicated no break whatsoever. The specialist had checked his hand and said he didn't think there was anything other than a bruise, and then read the radiology report. Because the PA was so insistent it was a HORRIBLE break, the specialist ended up doing another xray to make sure that radiologist wasn't wrong. I will NEVER NEVER NEVER go back. A HUGE waste of time and money. Additionally, the way the PA wrapped his finger caused a cut and blister from the splint. I have Absolutely NO FAITH or TRUST in this clinic, telling my son he could not play sports for 6 weeks. This place is a scam. While we were there, we heard two other patients be told that their condition required immediate treatment for a specific condition. I should have known to walk out. They tout that you will receive care, but they take your money and refer you somewhere else. Definitely find another Urgent Care, this one isn't it, unless you like wasting time and money - and wasting time of busy specialists. I have reported them to my insurance, and I hope they are DROPPED from the network. more
