I myself am a previous employee. I loved going to Incredible Pets as a kid, but working there has since changed my mind. Being belittled and talked down to by management (All family members of the owner) on a daily basis, while being expected to care for and maintain hundreds of animals and cater to customers in just a few hours by yourself for minimum wage gets old very quickly.
Not to mention they have many reptiles cramped in cages much too small so they are constantly stressed out and thus more aggressive. Many of their reptiles have mites and I have read many accounts of their fish being treated with "ich" as well.
I myself was not paid for about 5 hours of work on my first paycheck, and my neighbor's kid had a similar experience a few years ago. Pete and Linda (the owners) would not pay the boy until his father (my neighbor) went in and had a word with them.
Overall they have a lot of cool stuff that nowhere else around here has, the store is extremely nice but I will not go back there. Small businesses should be good to their customers and employees but after my experiences and reading their reviews online Incredible Pets doesn't really seem to give a hoot about either.
Strongly suggest doing some research online about them before spending 3x the price of what you would pay at Petsmart or on the internet. Might save you money in the long run
