I admit it - I was late on my credit card payment. 30 days, actually. Times are tough as I write this and eventually I would take care of the overdue amount. What I didn't know is that the collections witch would rip $125 out of my $133.90 balance just like that. Left now with less than $9 to my name I'm forced to pawn in order to eat and put gas in my car to drive to work. I'll be leaving BECU shortly, I'll be spending a fair amount of time/effort to broadcast this experience as much as possible, and I will never recommend this credit union. Not even banks do this - checking accounts are kept separate from credit accounts. What swine this credit union is.
