Our family used Scherling photography for our Christmas family photo. The session went well but the ordering process was bizarre and very unorganized. After taking our photos with a large family group, we were asked to view them and decide right then which proofs we wanted to use. After deleting nearly 100 photos in the matter of about 5 minutes, we were asked to place our order. After stating that we would like to go home and discuss with family, they were annoyed. Our order was then ready for shipment two weeks later and they forgot to add a sheet of 4x 6 for $50 and they could not charge shipping or get things taken care of at that time and needed to call back two times to 1)get us to pay for the sheet of forgotten 4 x6's that they forgot to charge us for and 2)the shipping. We were happy to pay for what we received but the customer service, hurried manner in order to place an order and the loss of all the proofs within minutes was really a disappointment. Places do this a lot better now and usually let you purchase a disc of the proofs. When we asked if we could do that at the end--it was sorry---they have been deleted. Overall, I will never go back here for photos. more
