had gone to this doctor and since then moved to South Carolina. I have a special condition with my eye. I had a medical emergency and my doctor in South Carolina needed my file from Dr. Davis' office asap. I filled out the information needed for the release and my doctor tried to get it from Dr. Davis' office. I received a phone call back from the receptionist stating I needed to send them $45 and it would take them 7-10 days to process. I asked the receptionist 'Martha' to call the Dr. Davis and have her call or have an on call doctor call me since she was not in today. Niether of those happened. The receptionist also stated it is their policy to only give records of what happened at your appointment if the customer asked for them at the time of service. Then when you call to get them in an emergency the charge you $45 and will send them when they get aroundf to it.. So in a medical emergency they could not even fax my file over to my doctor....... DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR..... The receptionist said..."do you expect us to work for free" like faxing a medical reord is such a labor intensive process.
