I had a promotion for a haircut, partial highlights, and conditioning treatment. Like the previous reviewer, when I first got to the salon I was informed that there would be an extra $25 charge because of my "extra long" hair. My hair is mid-back length and I was not asked about its length or told about this ahead of time. On another rating site a staff person from the salon stated that this is written on the voucher (from Eversave) but I just checked and this is NOT true. I've heard of charges for extra length before so I wasn't entirely against it, but they should have made an effort to inform me. I explained I wanted subtle light brown highlights on my medium brown hair. I was informed that this would lead to another $20 charge for toner. This might have been worth it if it had turned out well, but it was awful. It took two hours to get these services (not including blowdry/style, which wasn't done) and the highlights were thick and streaky. They were also this gold-orange color instead of light brown and there were far more than I wanted. I could have done a better job at home. I ended up going to HEB the next day and buying a box of demipermanent dye to tone them down. It looks okay now but I'm not happy and I would definitely never recommend this salon to anyone. more
