The owners of this range are some of the rudest people I have met. They are definitely their own worst enemy when it comes to customer service and just basic courtesy to other people. They do more to drive shooting enthusiasts away than they do to attract them. Very prejudicial against "black guns". AR's and AK's. Especially during hunting season. Wanted to site in my mini-30 and was told only hunting rifles could be shot . I explained that my mini-30 was my hunting rifle, very politely to the lady; because I hunted hogs. Her response was " just this once because hunters didn't like sighting in with the AR crowd" and "it's 3:30 you better be out of her at 5:00." REALLY? Guess what ? Some people do hunt with semi-auto rifles, I've never heard of this hunter / AR owner rivalry before; and you don't treat your customers like that or they go and tell others like I am now. It really could be a great place if it were owned by someone else. Don't waste your time here. Go to Bass Pro Shop. It's an indoor range and its ran by professionals. Also, they treat their customers great. Calling them to make an appointment is required, and that sure beats sitting in the heat at Bracken, and then paying them to treat you rudely and unprofessionally.
