I took about 15 pairs of jeans mostly Candies and Mudd in along with a good few tops all of which had hardly been worn (typical teenage stuff that they went off after just one or two wears). Plato's Closet told me that they did not buy stuff over 18 months old as they were no longer in fashion and none of it was nearly that old. Out of all that I took in, they said that two of the tops were worthy of them. They proceeded to give me $1.80 for both these tops when they had only been worn once each and orignally paid $30 each! They were probably going to retail the tops for at leat $6, good profit for them. My husband said that we would have got more than 0.90 cents each from tax back giving to Goodwill. I certainly agree and should have walked out and taken all my stuff with me and taken straight to Goodwill...... After all the advertising they do on TV, I expected for them to be a bit more fair than that!!! Lesson learned.
