On behalf of my father, I placed an order with this florist for 2 arrangements for a funeral that happened the week before Christmas. I chose this shop because it's an FTD affiliate that is close to the church. Both the arrangements were delivered after the funeral had begun. Delivery personnel were shabbily dressed. One arrangement was lovely and had the requested card. The 2nd arrangement was not what was paid for. It did not have the requested message, but instead contained my contact information. I did not know the diseased, My father, who sent the arrangement was not acknowledged. The 2nd arrangement contained 27 roses arranged on a cross shaped Christmas wreath (including the red felt bow), and many of these roses were of poor quality. Dad paid for 36 multicolored roses in this arrangement. We did not expect a Christmas theme for the arrangement. When I called Venus flowers to discuss the issue, I was offered a refund of $50. The inappropriate arrangement cost $100. The man was more concerned with how I would review his shop on line than he was with the impact of his shop's actions. He very grudgingly refunded $65. He did not honor the 100% satisfaction guarantee posted on his website. I would encourage anyone who has complaints with this shop to call FTD at 1-800-SEND-FTD. They were suprised by the the actions of their affiliate.
