I am being hookwinked by Gold's Gym too. I have a contract that states that it expires 12/8/11. I have a separate training contract in which I thought was a month-to-month contract. I recently lost my job and tried to cancel the training contract and was told my the Manager Frank Balitmore that I could not cancel it nor my membership. I sent him a certified letter to meet the cancel in my member and he contacted and said they would roll my membership over to next year until I fulfill my training contract. He is deceptive because in the beginning he made it sound like you can end your membership when it expires. There is nothing in my training or membership contract that states I have to keep my membership if I have a training contract. I am will to fit this issue. I now have to send a certified letter to ABC Financial to end membership. However, Frank Balimore said he will tell them not to end my membership.
