Worst experience ever! I would never reccomend David's Bridal in Okemos, MI to any future bride. To start things were great, but once I bought my dress & was locked in they were aweful!!!
***For my bridal gown 1st fitting***
-They were behind schedule & I waited about 25 minutes before they got me in for my apt., no appolgy was made.
-They switched seemstresses on me half way thru the fitting.
***For my bridal gown final fitting***
My 1st fitting was on 5/31/11 my final fitting was 6/17/11 my wedding was on 6/25/11. I got a call at 7pm on 6/16/11 asking if they could push my final fitting back. I called the next morning thinking they just wanted it later in the afternoon I found out that they meant "closer to my wedding date" I asked just how close as it is a week away. They told me my wedding was 7/26/11, I corrected them, they were unappologetic & said someone wrote the date wrong. Then I was told my dress hadn't been started. I was very upset & the woman ketpt telling me there was nothing she could do they'd have to push my appointment to a later date. I explained to her that I had a lot of prior obligations for other things that had to be done that week. She basically had no authority to fix the issue at hand. She had to take my issue to the manager. I waited for about 1/2 hour & the manager finally called me back. She then had to make some calls & call me back again. I waited to hear their solution for another hour. She called in another seemstress to get my dress done that day, but had to move my apt. back a couple hrs. When all was said and done I had to pay another $350 to have the dress altered for something that took them 5hours max. I wasn't offered a discount for their mistake either!
***For my bridesmaids trial***
-They were running about 45minutes behind schedule
-Once they got us in they gave us one fitting room for 6 bridesmaids
-The attendant paid no attention to us as she was "too busy trying to help a couple brides," seems that she forgot I was one of their brides too!
