Our little "Guinney" a Yorkshire Terrior, was shaken to death, by a Chocolate Lab, our family adopted from the HSSA.
This was within ten days of adoption.
Words can't describe our loss.
I am absolutely clear,I won't have any future contact with the place. I have in the past, dropped off lost dogs, and paid the fee: $20 something. Sorry. Stopped bothering, for a dog owner who has no collar, nor ID on their dog. Some other person can make the effort and make the donation.
This is an organization that gets plenty of donations. WHY charge anyone, to do a humanitarian act?
