I was a true blue Yamaha fan until I bought a pair of STK 12F's after Christmas. I tried the Yamaha 110's and 140's. The 110's were way too slow out of the hole and turning. The 140's were good but they wanted way too much money. I got the STX 12's for less than the price of the 110's and they are awesome. They take off right out of the hole, have plenty of power when turning, lots of room, plenty of storage, and will turn on a dime. Top speed that I have got is 59 mph on smooth water. They haven't been fully broken in yet, so more to come after more time on them. Over all they are the best PWC I have seen for the money so far. There are faster one's out there, but for family fun they are a blast.
