Upon move-in, selected an apartment with an ocean view. Advised that area of the complex was also the "quiet" part of the complex.
Horrible neighbors banging, shouting, screaming randomly until 4am on most weeknights turned it into the noisiest place I've ever lived in 20 years.
After several complaints to management, and the noise only would subside a couple days, then resume. Friends mentioned that eviction of those responsible for noise could take months to complete. So with that, I searched for another place to move.
Advised that owner would not be understanding enough to reduce my lease from 9-months to the 3-month lease (as is initally offered) based on excessive noise issues. Ended up paying a $1200 early termination fee along with a one month notice to get out of there.
