I DO NOT recommend EVER doing a special Pre-pay order of ANYTHING in this Lufkin,Tx Lowe's. They are so confused & disorganized. The left hand DOES NOT know what the right hand is doing. I went in to the store an ordered & PAID FOR an item that was seasonal & they no longer had them in stock in the store. It was not available to order online & the store only got so many in the store since it was a seasonal item. A boy that worked that department took me to the customer service counter & they took my $679.00 plus tax, to supposedly order the item that would be shipped to the store & available for pickup on 12/12/11. But, after being lied to that it was there & sending my husband to actually pick it up.....they could not locate it anywhere in the store(after 45 minutes of searching)and tried to track the order only to find that the ORDER WAS NEVER PLACED!!!! Evidently, they can take your money & never place the order. The boy in that department was the one responsible for placing the order...and he never did! OMG....now I have to wait 2 more weeks to see if it comes in. It is the xmas season so I know it will not come quickly. I am so furious because that is alot of money to be tied up waiting on my item. I may never even shop at this Lowe's again.....their employees are nothing more than idiots biding their time to collect a paycheck. What ever happened to good customer service??? more
