Within the first week they knew that a special event permit was needed. I had to call them once a week to see if they had gotten the appropriate and required insurance (that they should have already had) because I had already paid them. Every time I called they always said that it was going to be taken care of tomorrow. This went on for FOUR months and the permit insurance wasn't achieved until about a week before my wedding. I was on a first name basis with the employees, Sheri Whitman and Amy Allen of the Okaloosa county public works department because I couldn't get the issue straightened out.
