This store does not deserve good customers. I spent hours shopping for furniture after being lured in by advertisements of "big sale" and "no money down". Once I selected furniture I was told by sales people that I would be required to leave a deposit on every piece I selected. While I would not have had any problem giving a deposit with regard to a sofa that was being customized, I resented doing so for pieces I selected from clearance. I left approx. $1400.00 in down payments, $800 on the sofa alone to learn weeks later that the sales people never ordered the sofa and was holding my money gaining interest with no consideration to me at all. I was told the sofa was placed in a Customer will call status because my financing had not been finalized. Although, the financing was actually approved within two business days after I was left the store. So what possible excuse could they have for not placing the order after holding $800 of my money and a credit approval in hand? Also, at no time was I informed of the Customer will call status before I left the store. I was also given a date for when I could expect delivery of the sofa. I found some sales people and even the credit manager, in my humble opinion to be idiots. Anyway, I found doing business with this Darvin Furniture store simply ridiculous and very unpleasant. I am shopping for another furniture store for future purchases. more
