Dr. Heyman took care of my son from the time he was a preteen until college. He is straightforward, great with the child but pretty much ignores the mom. My son felt very comfortable with him and I felt he had good diagnostic skills and insight. But if you are looking for someone to comfort you and to reassure you he is NOT your doc. But if your child is self sufficient and you are looking for a good diagnostician with common sense, generally good demeanor and no nonsense sort of approach he's your guy.
