I had a great experience. The check-in was fast and I was upgraded to a suite. Service was quick and friendly everywhere -- especially by the Deep End pool, which is tucked in the back of the property and is less crowded than the main pool. The rooms were clean and the decor is terrific. I was scared by all the reviews of loud partying but there's nothing to worry about. The music didn't go all night. If this is a high concern, ask to be put in Building 4 or 5, which are the taller buildings away from the main pool. The hotel also has a trolley service that makes runs to downtown Palm Springs, which has a lot of great restaurants, bars and parks. Overall I don't understand all the complaints. Food was great. Massage at the spa was one of the best I ever had. I had a great time at the Riviera and will definitely be visiting again!
