Our one year old Border terrier decided to chase a cat under the wheels of a car - the cat escaped but dog was rolled over by a car wheel. We went to Emerald City as the dog began deteriorating (wheezing, glassy eyed, incontinent). Over the next couple of days they took care of the dog through the critical period when it was not clear whether or not she would live or die. She lived, and in the end my impression was that although they were not coddling, they were honest, competent, professional, and communicative.
