Been to Panera Bakery in Lincoln Ave, Chicago and the service is so disgusting. The front person ( name Mika ) is of no help to people like me who doesn't know how a bagel should be handled. In Dunkin Donuts, automatically they would toast the bagel for you and spread the cheese in the bagel. Mika just dumped everything in a bag. It's a "to go" order so I thought bread must be good but to my disappointment, the bagel is as tough as a rubber. Also, Mika must be under stress because normally, the front counter would have a pleasant behavior when serving customers. Prior to me next in the line, there was this another lady that she was giving all the faces because the lady is using a coupon ?!.. I would think that management must be so bad in this location to position an untrained person in front of the counter. I am under the impression that this place must be hiding a lot in their kitchen as well.. If you have a disgruntled employee like Mika in the front couter considering that she gets in contact directly with customers then I could imagine what a disgruntled employee in the kitchen. No regarding food safety ....
