This place was recommended to me by a good friend of mine for annuals and perennials. I am an avid gardener who enjoys purchasing locally at small private businesses rather than a corporate chain store. I made a special trip to this location on my day off. It is not on the way to anything and quite frankly is very much out of the way and off the beaten track, which I would typically appreciate. Given this day and my experience at this establishment, I was less than happy that I made a special trip there to be treated so rudely by the staff/owner. Specifically, upon arrival, I was not greeted by any staff nor did I feel very welcome there. I was the only customer this day and when I did find a person to speak to, he was less than cordial. In fact, he was downright rude! My time and money would be much better spent elsewhere. I would imagine that a small business owner (especially with the state of the economy) would appreciate repeat business. I would not recommend spending your time or money at this location. There are many other places that deserve your business (e.g., Point Philip Perennials where Kay and Herb greet customers with a warm smile and superb customer service). You could not pay me to go back to this place given how extremely rude (what I imagine was) the owner was to me. Not to mention that I did not believe the prices or inventory were anything special. They did not have a unique inventory as other places do and the prices were nothing to brag about.
