John and his wife are very personable and most importantly, VERY KNOWLEDGABLE... If you are making a mistake, John will tell you. It seems that all the other stores will just sell you whatever you ask for. It might not work, but they don't care because there is a no return policy. John will ask questions and if he thinks that you are messing up, he will not sell you what you are asking for. I respect that as a beginner and appreciate that he is looking out for the fish and corals. He is from New York originally, so some people might think he is an as***le, but that is far from the truth. Good man and a great store.
