Good: Dr B started out by treating the pain, but then helped me dig down with other specialists to find the underlying cause of my pain. After YEARS of odd problems he was able to pinpoint a diagnosis and send me to a specialist for my problems. The specialist ALSO recommends and respects Dr B.
I also know that whenever I call, nights, weekends, holidays, he is there on the phone or with a quick call back if he is with another patient. He is very much like the Drs of olde, your PERSONAL Dr.. Bad: It is a very small office. One Dr, his wife and an admin assistant. I think it would be great if he expanded his practice as I really hate knowing that if I call at 2AM, it is always him I will be getting up.. Improvements: I would like to see Dr B and his wife have more time off to allow them to relax a bit more. Sometimes they just seem so tired, I worry about them and therefore the sustainibility of a practice I depend on.. Other: Dr B is a dedicated Dr who is willing to deal with your pain, believes the pain levels and locations you give him, carefully monitors opiate usage and purchase to ensure that diversion is unlikely, and provides a 24/7 service that is seldom seen in the medical profession today. I have been sent to DrB by a PCP, 2 specialists and spoken to many of his patients in the waiting room. I have heard nothing but positive things about him and his wife.
