I've shopped at the Birmingham location several times, and I've never received anything but awful service. I don't 'window shop', I go to make a purchase, and I expect more from people who are paid to help people. The staff there is rude, and I was followed around like a criminal. As a professional, and certainly dressed like one, I was insulted. When looking for a wedding gown, I was told there would not be any appointments available for me. They are 'reserved for our bigger clients'. I had a rather detailed conversation with the manager after that one and have not been back. Unfortunately, it's indicative of the area from which they hire their staff. Several ladies have said they applied for a position and were told that most of the staff was from Mountain Brook, and that they (the applicant) would not fit in or feel comfortable. Quite frankly, someone needs to go in and clean house.
