We stayed at Park Lane on recommendation of a friend that lives in Savannah. We really enjoyed it. We always love coming to the South and enjoy the hospitality, and Park Lane's staff really was nice to us. They've had some work done recently by the pool. We really liked the "goony golf" place near the hotel - it's fun but challenging too (I don't golf). We didn't have to go far for anything, really, which is nice on that island since I spend a lot of time lost... Rooms have a "retro" feel or maybe they're just old. Clean, though. And they had a free happy hour during the week! If you're like us and don't have a timeshare in Hilton Head, I say go to Park Lane.
