I had a small leak near a "tee" and ABC Plumbing quoted me $799 to cut out the pipe and replace it. I asked how long the job would take and he said 2 hours. Knowing this was outrageous, I declined and he charged me a $59 service fee (of which they didn't mention when I booked the appt.)
I received quotes from two other licensed plumbers, both came in around $150. I called ABC and advised them they are quoting over 4x more than the market and they defended the quote stating they are more thorough then everyone else. I asked if my service fee could be refunded since I don't feel I should have to pay for an exorbitant quote and they refused. Don't call these people and please spread the word!
