I have used Hibdon's for decades and did business at four different stores in the past. The man at the counter was very polite and helpful. When I got home, I was shocked to see the lack of quality of workmanship. I first noticed one of the hubcaps about to come off because it wasn't mounted correctly. When checking the other hubcaps, I found that they had been pretty beaten up with paint gone on the edges. It seems that figuring out how to install hubcaps was too complex for the staff. NONE of the new valve stems had valve caps. The air pressure of the tires was 5 psi above maximum. Upon checking the lugnut torque, I found all to have less torque than I would use when tightening manually. One of the lugnuts was still several turns loose.
If I thought it would do any good to complain to the store, I would have done so. I'll go elsewhere next time.
