This place doesn't seem to care about customers at all. I have been in here several times and I'm constantly met with a rude, unconcerned attitude by the staff. They seem to think that they are this great store and are somehow better than you, but the selection is nowhere near as good as they seem to think. I went in today in September, while it is still 100 degrees outside, looking for some school clothes for my kids, and they didn't have one single short sleeve item in the store. The entire racks were filled with pants, jackets and sweaters. No sale rack of summer goods, nothing. I'm sorry, but we don't live in Michigan, we live in Arizona, where it's too warm to wear sweaters to school for a good 3 more months. And I wanted to find some clothes for now. I asked the clerk if they had any appropriate clothing for the 100 degree weather outside and she said "no", with an attitude like I'm an idiot for asking, "we follow the school schedule". Whatever that means! I know all the department stores have their fall stuff out but at least you can purchase summer things at sale prices. Every time I have come to Small Change, I have left disappointed and frustrated. I would skip this place and go to Kid 2 Kid or Puddleduds, where you will at least be greeted with a smile rather than Small Change's rude service.
