halperns' makes their own sofas, etc. and we purchased a living room set of a sofa, chair and ottoman.
the delivery was botched and almost didn't happen until we called and threatened to cancel our order.
That was in 1999. The sofa was supposed to be scotch guarded but has not repeled the stains as hoped and the cushions are faded and mushy.
that said, there are bargains to be found here if you are just starting out furnishing your home.
