The King and I has a wonderful atmosphere. The wait staff dresses in traditional Thai wear, the walls are adorned with Thai art and carvings and the tables are intimate without feeling crowded. Then there's the food. Fantastic. I have never been disappointed here. You can order your food as spicy as you like and they will accommodate. It is in the heart of downtown's theatre district... a great stop before the show. You can get your parking receipt (for the lot behind the restaurant) stamped for free parking. I do not recommend taking children under 10, although slightly older children may really enjoy this cultural restaurant.
