Angelos Steaks - Great, but take out a loan 4/14/2006

Angelo’s has arguably the best steaks on the beach. With a large viewing window you can watch them being prepared. I have not ordered anything else from them because it is known as a steak restaurant. The problem is that it is too expensive for what you get. The steaks are great, but I don't think you should have to take out a loan to get a good steak. While you are there make sure to get your picture take with Big Gus. It is a great photo op with a huge steer. A side note, you may want to search the internet to see a very cool picture of Big Gus with a tornado in the background. This occurred during the hurricane season of 2005. more

Nice laid out restaurant. In the heart of panama city beach. Home of Big Guss - the legendary 20,000 lb steer. This restaurant is very large and could hold 100"s of guests. However, for the price, I am not satisfied. It is really expensive and the food is average. Not much better than the other restaurants in town. I must add - the steaks are the best part of the restaurant :o) more
