I love this salon! My stylist is amazing, whether it be color, cut or just a simple blow out. She is absolutely phenomenal! However, there is a receptionist there, Lisa, Lucy or something along those lines, and she is seriously just down right nasty over the phone and in person. She is rude, and a tad disrespectful. Nevertheless, it is definitely my go-to salon. :) more

got the keratin treatment done at zoog and i loveeeeee it! my hair feels and looks so good. from the minute i walked in they took my hoodie and offered me a cup of water, the stylists had a lot of magazines waiting for me which i loved. will def come back. more

i walked in for a quick cut and dry after work and even though they were super busy they still managed to get me in. even though it was peak hour the stylist did not rush my hair cut and it came out just how i wanted it. i had the keratin done before at zoog and im def going to get it this summer. their specials are always so good. i highly recommend more

i've been going to zoog for a few years already and i can say ive had most of their stylists do my blow outs. they are all really talented and it always comes out amazing. they work really quick so if you 're trying to get a quick dry during lunch time zoog is the place to go! more

I don't even know where to start the most unprofessional salon I've been to , first they put u on hold on the phone for like 20min then I had to hang up coming if they can take me as a walking for a quicks cut and style I had to stand in the front desk for another 10 min cause she is too busy taking phone appointments and the girl in the front desk has that nasty attitude face I had to walk away and leave cause of the look she gave me please managers of the salon hire someone little more pleasant for the front desk not some attitude and nasty face girl don't recommend this salon to anyone horrible service more

went to zoog salon and Linda did my ombre hait color witch i did for the first time it looks amazing i am in love with itttt ...she also offered me a thernal conditional treatment that was done with flat iron which made my hair soft and smooth looking for the right stylist or colorist LInda is the girl!!! more

Linda is amazing talented person , I have just moved in to NY not long ago and to find someone who is really good is not that easy , zoog salon is located right next to my job googled about this salon read the reviews and decided to pick Linda she did a fantastic job with my highlights and gave me beautiful long layers that are very soft and not choppy its very easy for me to style my own hair and the color is brilliant if you want a hair cut that looks like a work of art and color that gives u a nice glowing skin that will literally turn heads, then you have found your hair master , compliments about my hair brighten up my day ;-) more

Love this place my favorite stylist is here at Zoog salon l absolutely adore Linda and she always gives me exactly what I want. She takes her time and gossips with me and I walk out looking gorgeous and feeling great. I've cheated on her before to try out other places but always end up coming back to get my hair color done with her cause she knows what she does she has a big experience with blending/matching the color my hair always looks amazing i recomend her to everyone to try her service out she is absolutly great with her job no matter what she does wether its color highlights or just a style , she has lots of patience and very friendly person to talk , 100 % satisfied . more

i have been seeing Senada for color for quite some time. shes quick and on point. Just started highlights with her and couldnt be happier. Her patience and knowledge of the area is comforting and rewarding. She knows what she is doing and you can tell in the way she consults with you (every single time you see her) and her confidence behind the brush. i have recommended her to my family and friends. as of now, my mother, father, sisters, 2 first cousins and 2 other friends have switched to senada. more

Ask for Linda 11/10/2011

My hairstylist was away on a long vacation, and i decided to try this salon by my work. The stylist Linda did a great job coloring my long and uneasy hair and changing my usual straight hair into a beautiful style with some long layers. She listened exactly to what i needed and was very helpful with her suggestions, making sure i left satisfied with my new color and hairstyle. I am definitely coming back to Linda and highly recommend her services and friendly attitude along with some great experience. more

I have been seeing Linda for almost a year now and I would absolutely recommend her! She is an amazing stylist. Having biracial hair it can be a challenge but not for Linda! I always come out of the salon looking great. She is extremely professional and friendly. I have so much trust and confidence in her abilities as a stylist. Go see Linda and you won't be disappointed. 5 stars!!!!!!! more

Great Color! 8/18/2011

I have tried multiple hair salons trying to cover up my gray hair. None of them gave me an even tone for some reason my roots were ""hot"". I was recommended to Steve for color process and walked out feeling radiant. My color was amazing. Shinier than ever before. He really knows what he is doing. He sat me down to discuss and come to an agreement with what worked for my hair and what results we wanted to see. i have since been back to him numerous times. The prices are AMAZING for a city salon in the heart of manhattan. more

Amazing colorist 3/5/2011

i work in lord and taylor as a make up artist and i should always look beautiful with my hair and make up so i was was recomended to see Linda at zoog hair studio by my coworker so i did my color and highlights with her and was amazed by her proffesional work i am very happy that i went there and saw linda deff recomend to see her if anyone is looking for a great stylist esspecialy colorist AAAAAA plus gooo Linda , thank u see u soon again :-) more

I went to zoog hair studio for the first time and was recomended from my friend to see Linda for highlights and color correction, she was very sweet and gave me a good consultation by explaining everything to me about the color and how it works and she did an amazing job on me . The color highlights and cut came out amazing, i would definitly recomend Linda if you're looking for a great colorist and stylist, i will definitly go back to see her again.. she is the best!!!!!! more

I made an appt to try it out. I walked in and the sign said walk-ins $30. Not really fair. Why did i pay 65? I told the guy behind the desk this was unfair and he said walk-ins have to wait. But, the whole place was empty when I walked in so why would someone wait when there are no other customers in the entire salon? He was rude and wouldn't give me the discount. Just a mediocre place, mediocre cut. My stylist didn't speak good english which always makes me a little nervous, that you can't even explain how you want your cut. Makes me not want to try new places. Nothing special. Make sure you walk-in to save the money. They are not busy anyway so the wait can't be that long. more

Ask for Steve! 7/4/2007

Steve is the best hairdresser here. His attention to detail is amazing. He has been my hairdresser for many years and I can't say enough. He does great color, highlights and cuts. He also stays on top of the industry and yet still manages to incorporate his tried and true expertise. I have followed him to this salon even though it is a bit out of my way and I will follow him anywhere else he goes. Ask for Steve...You won't be disappointed! Pros: great stylists who know what they're doing and give you fabulous hair; excellent prices Cons: awkward and busy location for up towners; no late evening appointments more

Totally Impressed 8/25/2006

I had to make a haircut appointment on rarther late notice--but Sasha's was able to accommodate. Normally, I go for student cuts at Aveda Institute--personally, I've always had a pleasant experience--but the low price of $20 bucks comes with a subway ride and definitely some time spent in the stylist's chair. I waited until the last minute and simply didn't have the time. So, I made my appointment and figured, ""we'll see."" Pros: Good Location, able to make last minute appt. Cons: none-- wonderful all around more
