I have been using Kristi at Zen Blend for several years and I recommend her highly! The atmosphere is very relaxing, music of your choice, and very clean. I find the hot stones to be heavenly! Only float in town 9/12/2008

I went here to try the epsom salt floats like from the movie Altered States. Its a great way to relax and open up some new creative thinking to a problem thats been plaguing you. They have a great deal if you go get a massage while your friend floats, so ask them about it. Very professional, great atmosphere, and a mini vacation in the course of a couple hours. Highly recommended. more

Life-Changing Massage-Don't go anywhere else!!!! 9/12/2008

I have been going here for 5 years now. I drove from Killeen until we moved to Austin a couple years ago. I suffer from severe migraines, and one of the only thing that has given me any relief is a massage at ZenBlend. I have had massages at 5 star resorts, and they do NOT compare to ZenBlend. I will not go anywhere else for a massage. The environment is so comfortable and relaxing. The massage is absolutely therapeutic and a renewing, healing experience. I always tell ZenBlend that it would not matter if they charged $1000.00 per massage - I would pay it and not blink an eye because of the true gift that Kristi has. The service is very personalized - she always asks what is hurting you or giving you trouble the most, so she can give some extra attention to that area. When we moved to Austin, we even centered our home search around the fact that we wanted to be close to ZenBlend. Now we live a few streets away! Pros: Service, Attention to Detail, Quality of Massage, Cons: NONE more

Zen Blend is a true gem! The peaceful atmosphere instantly transports one to a calmer state. The flotation tank is phenomenally relaxing and just melts all your troubles away. Kristi is wonderful and even sits and drinks tea with you afterwards! I highly recommend Zen Blend to anyone! Pros: Flexible scheduling Cons: Location is a bit far south but very easy to find. more

Massage Therapist loves Zen Blend 9/12/2008

At Zen Blend, I really enjoyed the flotation tank-massage experience. I had never been in a flotation tank, but Cristy really helped me feel comfortable with the experience. She is very professional, and friendly at the same time. Her massage space is beautiful, and everything felt and smelled clean and crisp. After floating for an hour, I took a nice hot shower, put on one of the spa bathrobes that she provides, and got onto the table. Her massage is sweet, not too deep, and not too soft. She even did some shiatsu by getting up on the table with me, and pressing into my spine. That felt great! She offered me hot stones, and I accepted, really enjoying the warmth. After the massage, I felt loose, and peaceful. She offered me a cup of tea, which I accepted and drank with her and enjoyed a nice conversation. As a massge therapist myself, I recommend Zen Blend to my friends and family. more

We just adore Kristi. She is a complete professional, she is attentive, specific to your needs, extraordinary in her capacity to sooth you. I have lived in many cities and had massages in all of them. By far, ZenBlend is the finest service I've had. The flotation tank is a great way to start if you have never done a float. I've been going to Kristi for over a year and it's the best service I've ever received. Upon entering you immediately feel the tranquil ambience setting. She's the best massuese I've ever visited and I keep coming back because of her expertise and the individual attention she provides. Kristi is a sweetheart, and very gifted. She makes you feel very welcome when you are at her home whether it is for a massage or float. This is the BEST hot stone massage I have ever had ! I have been a devoted client for 2 years, and when I moved from San Marcos, to Dallas, Kristi's amazing massages were reason enough to drive 5 hours for relaxation. I live in Kansas now, but still plan to make a special trip to Texas 3-4 times a years just to have a day of relazation from Kristi. Pros: Amazing Experience Cons: None more

Incredible hot stone therapy and float! 9/12/2008

A friend and I (as a Holiday gift to ourselves last year) did the couple's one hour float/hot stone massage. Each of us were able to either float or receive treatment simultaneously. It was heavenly!!!! Kristi is not only professional but also surrounded with amazing energy. My mom and I went to see Christy for a girl's day about 9 months ago and are still talking about what a relaxing and memorable experience it was. She and I both got a massage and did the floatation tank and it was AMAZING! The service and attention that Christy provides is very relaxed and personalized. I live in the Dallas area and have spent hundreds of dollars at high-end spas and have NEVER had a better experience that with Christy. more

Best relaxation on the planet! 9/12/2008

My husband and I drove down to Austin just to visit Zen Blend. Each of us enjoyed the floatation tank and I enjoyed the crystal mat, while my husband was enjoyed the tank. The atmosphere is so calm and peaceful. Kristi is such a sweet, gentle spirit and makes you feel right at home! We enjoyed tea and chocolates afterward. Excellent Massage technique,also can include a flotation tank. 9/12/2008

I have always wanted to do A Flotation Tank ever since Hawaii Five O and Jack Lord was kept in one for days as they tried to break him. I have also never had a Massage. My son gave this to me as a birthday present about a year and a half ago. Kristi is really excellent at her massage technique including hot stones and a complete body massage. I can't say enough about her and her operation, if that is what one would call it. She is a Registered Massage Therapist and really very beautiful (couldn't help but notice). Best place to lose yourself in relaxation 9/12/2008

My mom took me to ZenBlend for my birthday and I have to say that this was one of my all time favorites. I have both the massage and the flotation tank treatment. The massage was one of the best I have ever had. The combination of hot stones and warm oil makes your muscles relax soo much more than your average massage. The flotation tank took a few minutes to get used to, but after that....bliss. I got out feeling like jelly. Pros: relaxing atmosphere, very accomodating Cons: way south more

The closest thing to heaven on Earth...Simply exceptional! 9/12/2008

I contacted Zen Blend earlier this summer as I was interested in doing a float and finding a new massage therapist. I have gone to many different massage therapists over the years and discovered at Zen Blend the absolute, hands-down, bar-none most exceptional massage therapist I have encountered on this continent. From the atmosphere to the calm and friendly demeanor and disposition of the therapists to the creative techniques including aromatherapy, hot rocks, you name it, they have now spoiled me. I felt as if I was floating between the space of sleep and awake, that delicate place you only experience for a few seconds before you drift into a deep and relaxing slumber. Imagine being suspended there for an hour or more aware but in a state of complete relaxation. Wow! Pros: Too many to list...My advise: Discover this for yourself. Cons: The only downside is that at some point the massage ends! more

Best Infant Massage Class 9/12/2008

I took a 4 week (1 hour/week for 4 weeks) infant massage class from Zen Blend and it was wonderful. Kristi tailored the sessions to my daughter's likes/dislikes and really helped me be comfortable in giving my newborn daughter infant massage. She was very knowledgeable about the different techniques and explained them thoroughly and simply, until I was confident in my skills. I felt so relaxed and at ease in Kristi's space and she was very flexible during unexpected diaper changes and feedings. I recommend her infant massage classes to anyone. more
