Helpful, Friendly, Great Sales 5/21/2008

I love YLR. I fell in love with this amazing floor lamp with laterns that was $200. They were having a sale and I asked if it was on sale. They told me it wasn't, but they could put it on sale for me. They marked it down to $140. I got home and I took the paper lanterns out of the box and there was a piece missing. When I went up there, they were very apologetic and opened another box right up and gave me a new one, no questions asked. Friendly, helpful, local. An Austin gem, not to be missed. more

Sustainably grown is good 11/28/2007

After looking all over Austin, we finally found a quality, modern styled bedroom set at YLR. The staff was helpful and professional. I felt good that our pieces were made using sustainably grown timber from a Canadian furniture manufacturer. Thanks YLR for being a part of Austin. Great Experience 6/21/2004

Jonathan could not have been more helpful; he answered all of our questions, checked lots of price options, and generally spent a lot of time educating us about the various manufacturers and materials. We ended up ordering a dining room table and chairs, and it has arrived, only 2 weeks later. The store waived delivery charges and they are being delivered and set up tomorrow! We are very happy and would definitely buy from Your Living Room again. Pros: Cool styles, Great service more

very positive experience 6/12/2004

i have been looking at all the furniture stores around austin for months now (for a sofa and bar table)... YLR has the best design and variety that i have seen, and the prices are great for the quality. (i went to eurway, urban living, copenhagen, star, aqua, thomasville, ethan allen, louis shanks...etc etc. and couldn't find a single thing worth buying) i found the sales people (kristen) extremely helpful, and i think i probably look like the other reviewer -- someone who may not seem to have money on the outside, but is willing to spend it if it's good stuff. more

Please Forgive Our Sour Faces 6/6/2002

If they are assuming I was not a big sale they made a big mistake. If they are just naturally sour faced they may want to hang a sign that says, please forgive our unpleasnt expressions, please don't take it personally, we don't know how to talk to people, feel free to look around anyway. more
