As patrons of this store for almost twenty years (through the original owner to now) we are well familiar with the store. Over the years it has gone through many owner changes and changes in general. The owner before the present one did not do a good job. I am more happy with Marlo, the current owner and don't feel that she is always rude. Its some of the other staff that I prefer not to have dealings with. One of them, a young woman whom I will not name thinks that she owns the store. Usually, the employees children are in the store, which can be convenient for them, but distracting for the patrons. They have begun to be entirely too picky and cocky when it comes to accepting consignments. Freshly laundered/washed items will be rejected when there is slight dirt on the bottoms.. ie: shoes. Dishes or other kitchen items for kids get rejected for ""water spots"" (hey, that's proof they were washed isn't it?). I would only hope that these employees who habitually judge and insult others merchandise have perfect, clean, and beautiful homes and houses themselves. Don't throw stones before you look at yourself.. Is all I have to say. We don't do as much business with them as we used to, because of some of the staff. The merchandise can be very overpriced. On a side note, you can look at some of their merchandise and find spots, stains, and trace amounts of dirt (why these were accepted and others merchandise coldly rejected I haven't a clue). I've begun to order merchandise online because I don't have to put up with the young employees lip that way.
