Not such a good experience 3/21/2011

Beware registering for the whole month. I registered for 2 groups for 120$. Only on the third week it was announced that instead of the fourth lesson, a social dance is to be held. After only taking 3 lessons, i didn't feel much comfortable going to a social. When I called up the studio to see if I could come to a lesson next month instead, all in vain. 30$- 1.5 hours of work- vanished. Wouldn't it be fair to let the students know what they are signing up beforehand? Or at least give them a choice? If, in any case, you do decide to try the studio, ask about the introductory package- Tammy also forgot to mention it in my case. more

I was excited to find this dance studio that offers Swing. I arrived early and checked in. Tammy was very helpful at the front desk. Spencer (one of the dance instructors) was very nice also. He shook my hand and introduced himself. How ever Chrissy seemed disappointed to see me joining her class. She didn't say hi or introduce herself. She only had two students. She asked me to come back a different day because they were working on something other than the class description. She didn't seemed interested in teaching that night. I have been to many great studios. I don't think I will go back to this one. Pros: Nice studios. Cons: Instructors attitude and location. more

Great Dance Studio 12/1/2009

This is a great dance studio. My wife and I have learned so many great dances here. The desk staff is wonderful. Alexandra is always very sweet and helpful, German always makes us feel like we are coming home and Angelica is always on top of things. The teachers here are very knowledgable and can teach at a very advance level. The prices are very reasonable and I would never think about going to another dance studio. Pros: Great teachers, music and staff Cons: Location. more

Best Dance Studio in Manhattan 10/10/2008

Everyone gets treated so well here, you'll be encouraged to really try your best and relax and get into the groove for some hot dancing. They offer instruction in the full range, but if you are feeling daring, go for some of the latin dances, and then prepare to impress everyone at your next wedding!
