ice cream & frozen yogurt 4/18/2009

Hygene is low on their list. The attendant bobbing her pony tail over open ice cream containers while sampling the ice cream. Most products are of severly low quality with bland flavors. Sugar free products are sweetened with manitol most of the time. The side effect is similar to a laxative. Can you please serve me more, a double scoop please ! Seriously I've been there four or five times , not a good experience. Then I discovered just across the street from yogurt park such a higher level of quality, the sour yogurt is fine at michell's. more

For a cold snack close to campus, this is where to go. 4/16/2006

Between the Unit Three dorms and campus (in fact, just across the street from the dorms), Yogurt park sits and offers its own set of frozen treats. The prices are good for the amount of yogurt given, and there is usually a decent variety of flavors. It's fairly well known, which leads to longer lines during times when people crave a frozen snack. It's open late (well, later than quite a few other places around Berkeley) and while the lines can be long, as stated, they're rarely ever unreasonable. more

really nice! 4/8/2006

This place is just great. Cheap prices, and absolutely delicious frozen yogurt. All their flavors are great. There's always people in there, and everywhere I walk there are people holding Yogurt Park cups and eating some yummy frozen yogurt. The location is convenient, too; right next to campus near Unit 3. So whenever you crave a tasty treat, come by Yogurt Park and enjoy some great tasting frozen yogurt! more

Yogurt Park 3/29/2006

Every freshman finds Yogurt Park. It's popular for good measure: great soft-serve with ridiculously low prices. And I'm talking about unfinishable portions here. Sure, there are only a set number of flavors each day, but I've never been disappointed. For a few bucks, you can get a monstrous Raspberry Soft Serve (my favorite) with almonds. It's a treat of Berkeley that can't be ignored. But be warned, if you plan on going later in the evening, prepare yourself for a long line. more

Is it really yogurt 3/16/2006

That's something I have been wondering for the past few years. It tastes too good to be yogurt. I see the Berkeley Farms Milk truck outside of Yogurt Park wee early in the morning delivering 2% reduce fat milk. I think it is 2%. They have a telephone number that you can call and find out what is the flavors of the day. What else? Oh, as for pricing, I have been noticing a steadily increase in the price, which is kind of sad, but! it is still relatively inexpensive for high quality tasting dessert. more

Yogurt Park 1/4/2006

Yogurt Park is a very nice yogurt place near the UC Berkeley campus. It is right across from the Sather Gate parking lot where most visitors to Berkeley park. Yogurt Park offers a wide variety of yogurt flavors but not all of them are offered every day. I really like the New York Cheesecake flavor so if they offer it, try it! more

A Day at Yogurt Park! 9/11/2005

I love going to Yogurt Park! Very good prices, and there's always a good variety of flavors to choose from. There's a very big selection of toppings too. It's a healthy dessert option. All of the yogurt ice cream is low fat or sugar free. Yogurt Park is a very very popular spot to go to with friends or on a break. Who doesn't enjoy ice cream, especially on a hot summer day? I don't think I can name a single person who's never been here. You should try it out at least once, and be sure to bring friends and family! more

Freshly made yogurt that really hits the spot 8/9/2005

Generally I don't like frozen yogurt, except vanilla. Most flavored fro-yos I've eaten just haven't tasted right. I guess I'm too partial to the richness of ice cream. However, Yogurt Park offers up fro-yo that is just as good, if not better than ice cream! They make their flavors fresh on the premises, and the varieties change every day. Pick one, or have them mixed or layered. Then have them pour on the toppings (I always loved having fresh strawberries added into mine). Plus, the portions are large for such a cheap price. more
