Yellow Cab Inc

I work for a research company in Raleigh and we had very important guests from Washington DC that we were required to find a cab to their hotel from our facility. We called one hour in advance (9pm) and requested a Cab to arrive @ 10:15pm. well...the cab arrived @ 10:45pm and we knew this because we had to call back to find out what happened. The answer we got was: ""Sorry, we are running a ""little"" behind schedule"". Finally, a minivan with no signs of ""Yellow Cab"" arrived with the driver and another person on the passenger's seat. The driver didn't apologized to us and just yelled if we were waiting for the cab. The disappointing faces in our clients were very visible. We thought our last Cab was also terrible because it arrived 10 minutes after the scheduled pick up. This is my only advice to whomever reads this review: Do Not call Yellow Cab unless you're willing to wait half hour or more even though you scheduled your pick up. They are not customer service oriented, nor responsible and/or accurate. more

I usually never get on Google to rate companies or services, but this one deserves a review. We caught a cab tonight in Raleigh from the Yellow taxi cab company, and we have never been so scared!! Not only the driver didn't know the streets of a small city like Raleigh, NC - which is okay - but he was driving soo fast, that arriving at the lights, he didn't have enough time to slow down which made him change the lane at the last moment, otherwise he would have crashed in the front car! Not to mention that he often went past the lane on the road, and would drive 50/60 mph on Gorman St, where the speed limit is around 35mph!! The driver missed my house because he was driving too fast, and didn't have time to slow down so he did a U-turn on the road. I wish there were cops around there... I'm glad we didn't hurt anyone, neither in the car nor on the road. I will NEVER take a cab from this company again. more
