Yasmeen Salon

Went to Yasmeen on Katy Ft Bend recently and after going there many times I finally met a worker named Jessy. She was the best, She is very thorough and works quickly to remove hair in a painless way. She felt the skin to make sure hair was removed and completed the job with nice soothing gel. After that she gave me a card that she stamped and told me after 6 stamps the next visit is free. She had personality. It may be hard to believe but the other workers did not feel the skin for smoothness, apply gel or give me a card, they just simply threaded and sent you out the door. Next!.. Anyway from now on I will only be going there when Jessy is there. I highly recommend her. more

PENNY WAS THE WORST. NEVER GO TO HER. I went to get my hair darker for the fall/winter. I had blonde highlights. I told her I wanted to go brown but not like black brown. So she was all nice to me and being VERY annoying, when she was done with my hair it looked EXACTLY the same. So I go home to make sure I wasn't the only one who thought it was the same, but everyone agreed. I called back to the salon asking if she could re do my hair and very nasty she said it doesn't look the same and i'm going home at two thirty... which is now. Then she says come back at three thirty so I did. The owner whom I can't remember her name was WONDERFUL she really paid attention to what I wanted, she was gentle and very nice. Then Penny washed my hair and was so rough I had to ask her to stop, then she blow dryed my hair and hit my head with the blowdryer. Plain and simple she was awful, the salon is great. Penny not so much. more

I have been all over the world and have gotten brazilian waxes in the Philippines, Japan, India, Germany, Spain and all over the USA and I have to say that at Yasmeen's Salon - it was definitely one of the best ! I can't believe that I have found a place so close to home and at such a fantastic price ! And...open 7 days a week ! Nirvana =) It was virtually PAINLESS (c'mon, there is no such thing as pain-free for brazilians) and FAST (I had to wait about 10 minutes since there were some women getting eyebrow threading before me). I am very happy and will continue to go there for both my brazilian waxing and my eyebrow threading needs in the future ! The place is extremely clean and hygenic. I have been to other salons (expensive ones - yes, I am talking about the day spas in Katy !) and the technician didn't even wear gloves...ewwww !!! And when I asked her to put some on, she told me that they were "out" of them and were waiting for a supply to come in. I was so grossed out and scared (for reasons that you can imagine !) I just walked out of there...and they were not the only salon that has done that, which is really the scary part ! Anyway - at Yasmeen's I felt comfortable and when I saw she used gloves, I was so pleased. And it was fast too - we're talking less than 30 minutes ! No parking hassles either =) Everyone should go there...you'll be very pleased with the service and the price can't be beat !!!!!!!!! Pros: Painless. Fast. EXTREMELY affordable ! Cons: none more
