Yankee Lanes

I have been going to yankee lanes for a few years. This is a great place for anyone who likes to bowl. They have a variety of balls (all with different weights). They are always friendly and the facility seems to be clean. They also have pool tables and some video games. I have seen people of all ages. Usually, the people who are in their late teens early 20's will go on a friday or saturday night because that is when they do galactic bowling. more

I have been going to Yankee Lanes for years. During certain nights (Friday and Saturday) it has many young high school students who just like to play around. If you go on a Monday night then they will give you a discounted rate to bowl. It has always been clean there and they have good customer service. more

Yankee Lanes offers large pin bowling (as opposed to candle pin bowling) and a lot of fun. They have a nice variety of ball sizes for those who don't own their own and well maintained lanes. Scoring is done by computer, and one that keeps better score than most that I've seen. Gutter bumpers are available for those with kids (or those who just can't bowl...) and there is plenty of seating around each lane. Yankee Lanes has a bar and concession stand, if you order something that takes a while to cook they'll even bring it to your lane for you. There is also an arcade with several video games, pool tables and an air hockey table. If you're looking to bowl on a Friday or Saturday night stop by for Galactic Bowling where you'll find black lights, strobes, a dj to keep you entertained and plenty of bowling extras to add to your experience (be prepared to pay more and wait for a lane though). more

Yankee Lanes is a great spot to spend a Saturday night with friends. The food is good, as far as bowling alley food goes, the arcade has some good video games/pool tables, etc. and the bowling is fun! They have bumpers so if you go with your children (or you are just a stinky bowler) you can request a lane with them. However, I have noticed on, they will not always grant a person's request for a lane with bumpers. I think this has something to do with the high school aged kids who fool around and bang the ball down the lane. Either way, Yankee Lanes is a great value and loads of fun. more
