The Wreck is one of those ""Don't Judge the Book by the Cover"" restaurants. Even when you find the place, you still are not sure you at the right place. Recommendation - have a local take you or find it in daylight hours. That being said, the FOOD is superb. You start you meal with a paper menu to circle your order while you munch on the best boiled peanuts. My companion had the scallops and I had the broiled shrimp and fried oysters. I am not a ""fried"" person, they were hands down absolutely delicious. If this same meal where served at one of the upscale restaurants downtown Charleston, you could expect to pay 3x the amount.
Pros: Great Food, Good Sweet Tea
Cons: Hard to Find, Paper plates
