This place is something special. It's charm will be evident from the moment you step inside. If after that first moment you aren't instantly in love with the Workshop, then you ...

Worst

I reported these guys to the State Department of Health, and hope they get paid a visit. If you want to inhale second hand smoke and get treated like crud for asking them to obey...

Run don't walk to this piece 'o dung dive if you want to breathe in second-hand smoke and surround yourself with some of the dumbest barfly in the Pacific Northwest. If you want to smoke or be smoked, go for it ... inhale. But this place likes to flaunt the law and abuse patrons who ask for people to stop smoking so close to the so-called bar/restaurant patio door. Want to be treated like dirt just because you don't smoke and don't want to inhale it, ... then truck on down to the scummiest old Tavern in Redmond, WA. Heck, you can even meet an ugly fat chick while you're there. Pros: old time tavern, has that falling to pieces look Cons: they hate people who like to breathe more

that's the great part about it. 6/2/2006

This place reminds me a lot of the Spot in Renton. Except we all know that Renton bars tend to be trashy, and shady joints. The workshop combines all the great things about a trashy dive bar (cheep, strong drinks, a great crowed, live music, no pretentious bounders and no cover charge), and adds a bit of affluence to itself (by its upscale location in Redmond). If the workshop was a girl, she would not be the most attractive lady, you would not want to take her home to meet your parents, but you always have a great time hanging out with her and your friends. And in the morning, you will feel a bit of regret for your actions, but at the same time, you cant wait to see her again. As a last note: they have the cheapest pitchers of Mac And Jacks I have ever seen. more

The Workshop Tavern in Redmond has karaoke on Friday and Saturday nights. Its so much fun! They have a professional DJ with professional equipment who hosts this. No matter how good or bad you can sing, its so much fun to drink a few beers and get up in front of everyone and try it out! more

The Workshop on Leary Way in Redmond is a no-frills bar, but has the BEST burgers I've had anywhere, and that includes Red Mill, Burgermaster, Red Robin, Dick's, Two Bells, Kidd Valley, etc. Plus, people are nice and the drinks are plentiful and cheap! Pros: GREAT burgers, good/cheap drinks, parking no prob Cons: Sorta divey, Only bar food more
