Unfortunately, Woodbury Cleaners ruined one formal dress, one pair of pants and an expensive dining room tablecloth of mine. When they damaged the first two items they reimbursed me""replacement"" money, attached with several excuses; however, we worked it out.
When they recently returned my dining room tablecloth it was twisted, threading and adhesive undone: another mess! I returned it asking for repair. Their tailor said it couldn't be fixed. Beyond that, they took no responsibility for the damage saying it was a ""manufacturer"" issue. There was a care label stating ""dry clean only"" but the combination of materials made for closer consideration before cleaning, that's why I specifically asked them to call me before processing it if they thought it wouldn't wash well; the piece was very unique, expensive and belonged to a set. I expected some common sense and some expert consideration. Instead, according to the vice-president, they threw it in the machine on ""gentle"" cycle.
The manager showed no care for my loss and was unprofessional, even rude, during our 2 conversations. We agreed not to do business together again-especially since she refused to help solve the issue and hung up on me-unbelievable. Be careful if you choose Woodbury Cleaners, they are not cheap, and they will not care if your property is damaged. The Vice-President's favorite line: It's not our fault. If you want a customer service oriented business, and especially if you have an article that's special, choose a more responsive service.
