Great place for great care 8/16/2010

Wonderland Chinese is a great school for little kids specail you want your little children to care by great, patient and loving teachers. Teacher and children ratio is great, 1:7 or 1:8 at the preschool side. Some teachers are over quarify for being preschool teachers at wonderland. Couples teachers were used to be high school and even University teacher back in China. Location is huge and you can not find any location big like this in this valley for Preschool or Bilingual school. Location is peace and safe which is the most important part of the school for our little one to grow. Management team is a little weak in this case which it can be improved if the owner really want his business to be better. Class rooms are little run down and little old but acceptable. Over all, I recommend you for this school. more

Great childcare option 3/26/2010

Our kids have been going to Wonderland for the last 5 years and they really love it. They particularly enjoy the warm homey environment of the preschool and afterschool care despite the fact that the school is quite large as far as chinese schools go. Also, you cannot beat the large outdoor play area which is usually non-existent in most other similar school programs. We found out that most of the turnover was due to the economic downturn. Pros: Location, safety, price, open most holidays Cons: Not the place if you are looking for strong academics more

Be careful what you get yourself into; bilingual is good, great care is more important. 2/8/2008

There are usually 2 groups of people who will take time to write reviews: either they have good experience or very bad ones. I am of the later. The teachers are nice but they come in shifts. There is a lack of communication among teachers and I don't see a sense of ownership or responsibility from them. The afternoon teacher usually has no idea as to what has transpired in the mornings. All these may not be the teachers fault as the director dictates the work schedule. All I have seen in the past five months are high turn over of teachers or not enough coverage in the early afternoons. Are the teachers qualify to take care of children are a total different matter. How could a teacher/director doesn't know a 102 degree temperature is a serious matter for a little one really amazes me!! Instead of isolating him, putting a ice pad on his forehand and calling his parents, they just let him run wide in the playground . Luckily no major issues arise from this incidient. As you can tell, I am not a happy camper. Hope you have better experience than me. more
