I have been a patient there for over five years, I had a bad experience a couple years ago and chalked it up to the fact everyone has a bad day. BUT last week I again called with a problem. The triage nurse returned my call 4 days later NOT within 48 hours like the recording says. She was so rude and patronizing I still can't believe it. Then she told me she would just call in medication for me there was no need to come to office to see the doctor, she could take care of me. Even after I repeatedly asked for an appointment to talk to my doctor. I'm asking my friends to see who they go to because I don't think a patient asking repeatedly to talk to the doctor at an appointment should have faith that a few minute phone call with triage this nurse (that asks TOTALLY RUDE and way appropriate questions, about things people don't even tell their best friend) that thinks she knows me and my condition well enough to call in medication for me. She needs to GET a life and stop trying to live threw the patients experience. Thanks for letting me vent hope this can help others. more

(My visit was on 4/25) Just finally got insurance coverage and I went there. I wasn't showing up as eligible so they told me that I could pay out of pocket and that I would have to keep checking my insurance until it became eligible and they would retro-bill it. I've worked in doctors offices for the last ten years and know that it takes less than two minutes to check the eligibility on my insurance so I thought that was a bit rude. After the first girl told me I didn't have insurance I was asked another four times if I had insurance. When I went in and seen the doctor I was in and out in ten minutes. My mother and grandmother both had/have ovarian cancer. Dr. Richards never addressed that with me, or anything else. She pushed the gardasil vaccine (which is approximately 300.00 per visit and it takes three visits). She wrote me a prescription for a birth control that costs $170.00, and even after I was covered by my insurance, the insurance company won't cover that. When I called the doctors office back they told me I need to find out what birth controls my insurance would cover. I've never told a patient that, nor would I expect them to know. In my office we would look it up for them, or work with the pharmacy to find out what is going to work best. I have never been so frustrated in my life and I will never go back there again. Update on 5/8/14- They sent me a bill for an additional $170.00 that was not mentioned to me when I had stated several times that I did not have insurance. Their total bill with office visit was $375.00, when I went to planned parenthood four years ago my total visit was $200.00.\r more
