Wing Stop

I used to go here a lot but not anymore. The staff, at least the phone staff, leaves a lot to be desired. I think a little more time needs to go into training. "Can you hold" - "Hello, can you hold" - "can you hold" - disconnected. This happened twice just today. Now on to the wings .... I am giving this place ONE LAST CHANCE. I used to love the wings and specifically set one day of the week aside just for them. Well it has gone WAY DOWN HILL. Over cooked ... under cooked ... greasy .... and if you order garlic Parmesan (which was my absolute favorite) they have almost no garlic or Parmesan flavor at all. Has turned out to be a great disappointment. I just thought I would bring this to someone's attention since the apparent manager at this location is as clueless and unprofessional as the rest of the staff. The owner might want to stop in from time to time and possibly hire someone a bit more mature and experienced to run this business for him. Well ... I am off to pick up my order ... wondering if this is the last time. It is just sad to see some place that was really good, become really bad. Not sure why this place makes any of the Best of City Search lists... especially for "After Work Bar". It's a small joint with about 6 tables that feels more like a Sub shop than a bar. The wings are below average - decent sauce but tiny sickly looking wings. They do have 3 beers on tap (all served in a plastic cup). All things considered - not worth the trip. I have eaten at this establishment since it first opened and it just gets better and better. The attention to making your experience good, is remarkable. The food is THE BEST, but the service is just as good and hard to find in this day and age. You will enjoy the total experience when eating at this wonderful restuarant. Do you like wings? a nice cold beer? sports? then this is the place for you. Wing Stop is a great place to go after work or maybe for lunch. They have a wide varitey of flavors and they are all to die for. Thier fries are a good conterpart to their spicy wings. more

Noy only reasonably priced, but the best Wings I have ever eaten. Try the Lemon Pepper and Cajun Pros: No Smoking more

Best fries I have ever eaten, go great with ranch dressing or ketchup; excellent fresh and large wings compared to others (try them regular or well done); excellent bourbon baked beans; crisp celery and carrots for side items; very clean restaurant - one of the highest ratings I have seen in a Charlotte restaurant 100.5; very friendly staff; convenient location - love shopping at Fresh Market next door before and/or after eating at Wing Stop; good beer specials; $1 beer on Tuesday American Idols night is great.
